Senior year statistics documented by PSAL during Ryan’s tenure at JFK reveal his impressive averaging 18.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game. Notably, in his junior year at JFK, he averaged 15.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game. Ryan also averaged 16 points per game in 10 games with Victory Rock Prep.
In a significant stride during February 2023, Ryan was announced at a Gotham Hoops Classic PRIME MVP, a well-deserved honor achieved by delivering a masterful performance – netting 34 points in a win against South Bronx High School and a outstanding performance against Benjamin Cardozo High School. Real Scouts Basketball took notice of Ryan Leonardo’s remarkable potential, earmarking him as a premier prospect in the NYC basketball scene.
